So many interesting lessons at the moment. The 3D-artists are digging deeper into the environment course. Assignment – do a lot of robots, with a different fictional heritage. The students are divided into teams, and work enthusiastically together. Robots are awesome most of the time, so everyone is stoked.
Frida Thorén is really, really happy with modeling robots.
Jacobo Antonucci, Claes Fornell & Anders Bergman are sculpting a miniature of an old Maya-village.
And what about the students in game design? The last six weeks its been an à la carte of theoretic lessons. 2 weeks studying gamedesign-patterns with creative director of Might and Delight, Johannes Wadin. Another 2 weeks studying storytelling with “drakar och demoner”-Michael Stenmark. The two previous weeks has been about quality assurance, accompanied by Hugo Hirch, former QA-manager for Starbreeze. These coming two weeks we have Michael Stenmark again, and the students are now learning to pitch and advertise their future products. Awesome lessons, in other words. Today we modeled characters of clay, just to get our creative point across in our upcoming pitches.
