How do I apply?

First, go to EDUCATIONS to check what educations we offer. You can use our filters for fields of education, educations hosted online or on site etc.

After clicking an education, you’ll find a red button reading “APPLY NOW”. You will also need to check the prerequisites for the education, as well as the special selection exam, and other materials needed to send a complete application.

If the education is not open to application, you can leave us a note of interest and we can contact you when applications are accepted again.

What kind of diplomas do I get?

From our longer YH-educations, you receive a Higher Vocational Education Diploma. From our Folk high school educations and diploma courses, you receive a diploma or certificate of study.

How does Futuregames collaborate with the industry?

The school cooperates through the education’s respective Boards of Education, and through LIA-visits. We are also in contact with former students (alumni) and conduct industry meetings with our priority businesses.

Our educational programs are developed in close collaboration with the game industry.

When is the last day to apply for the Autumn 2021 programs?

The last day to apply to our programs starting this fall is May 4th. Visit our EDUCATIONS page to check what programs we offer. You can use our filter function to search for different educations, locations and on-site / remote programs.

Can I study remotely at Futuregames?

In the current circumstances, all education is carried out online / remotely. Usually, most of our educations are held at the school. Find more information about each program under EDUCATIONS.

Futuregames North

Futuregames started in Stockholm, but you can now also study at our schools in Boden, Skellefteå and Nordreisa (Norway). Become part of the fast growing game industry in the North!

Will the school help with accommodation?

If you are looking to study in Boden, Skellefteå och Karlstad the school can help you come in contact with housing options. There is more information to be found on each LOCATION page.

Is there a game industry in the North?

Yes! The gaming industry is exploding in the North of Sweden (and soon also in Norway). Once again 2020 was a record year for the gaming industry in Northern Sweden. The number of game companies has increased by almost 30 % , and there are now about 400 professional game developers operating in 70 different companies in the region. And they need you to keep growing!
