Game Project III has started! For the coming 6 weeks the students will work on their final game projects here at FutureGames. The students have been divided into 5 groups, 2-3 game designers and 4-5 3D-artists each. The game each group will make will be up to themselves to decide – that’s right, they can create their very own game concepts and see them become real! 🙂 And of course at the end of the road a jury consisting of some of the greatest people in the Swedish industry will judge their games.
During this period the students will post updates here on the site about anything regarding their projects. They might post pictures, videos, tell you how they work and what they currently are working on.
If you would like to see what the students are doing, you are welcome to see our FutureGames presentations every friday between 14:00 and 15:00. The venue at Berghs where we will hold these presentations will change from week to week so be sure to come here often to  make sure you know where to go!
So what has happened this week? We started our week by having the pleasure of Johannes Nornebys great company. He is a veteran Swedish game developer who has a strong background in the biggest companies in Sweden like Massive Entertainment and DICE. Now he works as an indie developer, making his own games. Johannes helped the students this week by sitting at their team meetings, discussing ideas, looking at game play and so on.
If you want to learn more about Johannes, visit his site here.
Thanks for coming Johannes and good luck to the students!
