Futuregames Meet-n-Greet – Does your company want to take part?

Futuregames Meet-n-Greet is an essential part of our education. It gives the chance for games companies to meet our students, look at their work and make connections! Every year we expand the number of companies taking part who of course completely free of charge have the chance to get to know our students and see portfolios of their work.

Internships (LiA) make up 25% of the student’s study at Futurgames, so Meet-n-Greet is their chance to find the right place to show the games industry what they can do. Over the years our students have used Meet-n-Greet to find internships at virtually every major games-company in Sweden and increasingly internationally. In the interconnected worldwide marketplace, our students have found places for internship that lead directly to future employment globally. As all Futuregames educations are completely conducted in English out students are prepared to enter the workplace anywhere!

In order to find the right match, we send out the student portfolios in good time before the event, so that a company has time to look through their work and can pick the students they want to meet and find the right fit. We then arrange individual meetings with the selected students and also offer our students the chance to set up informal chats with companies attending.

At present our events are entirely online and companies will be able to talk to the individual students they are interested in a simple virtual meeting room. For international companies if the difference in time zones makes this difficult, we are happy to set up special meetings at a more convenient time!

We run our Meet-n-Greets every spring and autumn and any company wanting to take part can simply fill in the form in the link below, and we will get back to you with information about participating.
