About the Course
This course focuses on basic skills and knowledge in game development. You’ll get hands-on experience with foundational tools and techniques, guided by experienced instructors. No previous experience is needed — just curiosity and a passion for games. By the end of the course, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and a stronger foundation to build on.
You’ll begin creating early portfolio pieces and gain insights into areas like: Game Programming, Animation & VFX, Game Art and Game Design.
Course details
Format:
19,5 hours of teacher-led evening classes.
The sessions will be held online via Microsoft Teams during evening hours. The lectures will be recorded and available for four weeks after the course, allowing you to revisit the material and practice what you learned during the course.
General schedule:
Monday and Tuesday: Teacher-led (2 hours)
Wednesday: Independent work on a home exercise.
Thursday: Feedback session with the whole group (2,5 hours)

Tips before starting the course
A great game portfolio, gaming résumé, or work sample isn’t built in a day. This course will help you take the first steps.
You’ll work with Blender and Unreal Engine 5, tools that are both industry-standard and beginner-friendly. Step by step, you’ll be guided through the basics to make learning fun and manageable.
