Tips to do before the start
Before the start of the preparatory course, it is beneficial to have an idea of what you want to do for your work sample. It can be a new idea or improving on something you have worked on previously.
Try to push yourself but be realistic. Create a plan for yourself and break down the task you need to finish with clear deadlines. Prioritize the different tasks, what is the things you must have and what are the things that are only nice to have. That way you can scale down if you realise you are running out of time.
If you learn from different resources really make sure that you understand what you are doing, avoid just copying something without investigating it and reflecting upon it.
Make it relevant for the education you are interested in applying to, if you are interested in multiple educations work smart and see if you can create a work sample suitable for the educations.
Working with others is both great and challenging and is great to experience before an education like the one at Futuregames. If you want to create a work sample together with others, make sure you explain what parts that represents your work.
