01. hOW TO APPLY

This applies to our YH programs, which are 1.5–2.5 years long.

1) Find your program
Visit the page of the program you’re interested in and click the “Apply Now” button.

2) Submit your application
You’ll be redirected to our admission system, Yh-antagning, where you’ll need to fill in your details and upload the required documents.

3) Get confirmation
After submitting your application, you’ll receive a confirmation via Yh-antagning, ensuring that your application has been received.

Which documents should you submit?

For your application to be considered, it is important that it is complete. To submit a complete application, upload the following documents:

High school diploma/other certificates.
Other diplomas or certificates relevant for the education such as previous university study, technical courses etc.
CV/personal letter.
When required: Work sample’s

Important
Keep the following in mind when uploading diplomas or certificates for your application:

Personal identification number must be clearly visible.

All documents must be of good quality and clarity (High-quality screenshots are acceptable).
Full names must be included and be clear.

Important
Please name all uploaded documents correctly to ensure that your application is complete.
For example: firstname_lastname_documenttype

Work Samples

Some of our programs require work samples.

Details on what to submit are on the web page for each program.

If you have most of the documents ready but are still working on your work sample, you can go ahead and submit your application. In that case, leave a comment and let us know that you will be completing your application with the missing documents by the end of the application submission deadline.

International Qualifications

Candidate selection process

In cases where we have more eligible applicants than available places, a selection is made. The selection methods used differ for each program and may include a work test, written test, or oral test.

Taking the selection method offered for each program will increase your chances of being admitted.

The test will assess your knowledge within certain criteria depending on program, and all applicants will be ranked on a points-scale to determine who will be offered a place on the course. To learn more about the selection process and criteria please visit the program specific page.

The Boards of Education for the respective educations will then decide who will be admitted to the course, and you will receive a response regarding your application by the end of June.

If you are eligible, you may be admitted or placed on a reserve list.

02. Eligibility

Once you’ve sent in your application, we’ll get started on assessing your eligibility. There are two types to keep in mind: General Entry Requirements, which applies to all programs, and Specific Entry Requirements, which is only required for certain ones. If any special requirements apply, you’ll find them listed in the program description.

03. acceptance letter

It is important that you keep up to date throughout the spring, so you don’t miss out!

Once you get your acceptance letter, make sure to accept within five (5) days of being notified. If you don’t respond on time, you might lose your place.
