Higher Vocational Education – your path to the job market

A fast track to your future

Futuregames offers vocational higher education (YH) programs designed to get you job-ready. With a strong focus on hands-on learning and industry connections, YH is all about real skills for real careers.

But what does that mean in practice? Let’s break it down—how it works, why it’s different, and what makes it a great choice for anyone looking to start or level up their career in games and tech.

Work-based learning

(LIA – learning in a work environment)

A key part of vocational education is work-based learning, where students gain real-world experience. In most YH programs, this is done through LIA (internship), where you apply your skills in a workplace and gain valuable industry connections.

Each LIA follows a structured syllabus with clear learning objectives
– LIA is mandatory in most programs but not required for shorter courses (up to 99 credits)
– MYH determines which programs must include LIA

We strongly encourage you to take an active role in securing your own LIA placement, as it allows you to tailor your experience to your career goals. However, we are responsible for ensuring that placements are available within the approved region of the program. If you wish to complete your internship outside this region, you will need to arrange the placement yourself.

Education quality – our commitment to your future

Ensuring high-quality education is a key priority at Futuregames. We continuously develop and improve our programs to stay aligned with industry needs and regulatory requirements. Our goal is to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed for a successful career in the games industry.

How we ensure high-quality education

Adapting to an evolving job market

Vocational education must stay aligned with industry needs. That’s why we continuously monitor external factors that shape the job market and influence how we design our programs:

Employment trends – How job opportunities shift based on industry demand and economic conditions.

Global developments – How policies, market shifts, and new technologies affect hiring needs.

Industry advancements – How evolving tools, processes, and employer expectations redefine required skills.

Workforce mobility – How relocation trends impact career opportunities.

By staying ahead of these changes, we ensure that Futuregames graduates are well-prepared to enter the industry with relevant skills and a competitive edge.
