PROGRAM
Game and UX Designer
Study Game & UX Design
Game and UX is about designing engaging and meaningful game and product experiences by understanding users, behaviour, and motivation. It brings together user research, data, game psychology, and design thinking to shape how players interact with games and digital services.
As a Game and UX Designer student at Futuregames, you learn to turn insights into experiences. You work with user research and analytics, plan and conduct pre studies, and use data as a foundation for design decisions. Through game thinking and psychology, you explore how design choices influence behaviour and engagement.

About the Program
Be “the voice” of the player
Do you play a game and often think of how you can tweak its UI to a more player-centric UI? UX design is where the science of the player meets the art of game design. Seemingly small choices made by every one of the game/product development team impacts how the game experience manifests in players. Learn to be the voice of the player as a user experience designer, and create the game you want to play.
The program covers the full human centered design process, from early concepts to tested prototypes. You create both design and programmed prototypes using industry relevant tools and develop your skills through collaboration in multidisciplinary game projects.
Futuregames programs are accredited and regulated by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education (MYH). We pride ourselves on making our programs as close to the professional industry as possible. The courses are developed in collaboration with our Educational Board, ensuring they meet industry standards and needs.
