Tove Lindholm receives Elisabeth Tegner Scholarship

We would like to congratulate Tove Lindholm, level designer at Snowprint Studios, for being the first scholarship holder of the Elisabeth Tegner scholarship! Tove Lindholm has formerly worked on renowned game studio companies Avalanche, Fatshark and Rovio. The scholarship was awarded at Geek Girl Meetup’s national event that was held earlier this month.

Elisabeth Tegner has been active in the IT industry since the early 1990s and was involved in the startup of Futuregames. Her scholarship was founded this year by Changemaker Educations with the intention of making female role models in the tech industry more visible. It’s not about treating women as figureheads however. In an interview with Honk Please, she says “I do not believe in quotas. I believe in people who succeed by their own driving force.”
