We’ve done it again! Futuregames has been officially ranked among the world’s top game development schools by The Rookies.

futuregames best school in the Nordics for Visual Effects
This year, we’re incredibly proud to be recognized in three categories by The Rookies:
- Game Design & Development
- Production Excellence – Mobile Games
- Production Excellence – Visual Effects
And that’s not all – we’re the best school in the Nordics for Visual Effects, and we’ve secured our place among the top 37 gamedev schools worldwide!
The Rookies hold an annual award for the most creative schools across the globe with a focus on the quality of the students’ portfolios. This yearly award welcomes young talents in visual effects, animation, games, virtual reality, motion graphics, and 3D visualization. The Rookies announces the world’s 30 best game design and development schools by assessing students’ employability, their creative and technical expertise, portfolio presentation, and diversity.
This achievement wouldn’t be possible without our incredible community of students, alumni, staff, industry mentors, lecturers, and game studios. You are the heart of Futuregames, and we couldn’t be prouder to have you with us on this journey.
Thank you for being part of something truly special!
