First ever XR-school VR-e-sports championship

This weekend, the first ever XR school VR-e sports tournament took place.

With support from Cortopia Studios, a group of  Immersive Experience Creator students at Futuregames invited XR-students from Nackademin and Hyper Island to run the first ever XR school VR-e-sport tournament in the newly released game “Wands Alliances” from Cortopia and Beyond Frames.

8 teams from all schools fought for the win. The tournament even gained attention from the global wands alliances community, some of the absolute top players of the game were following the tournament and asked to comment live on the finals during Saturday.

“The industry is small, it needs to keep it’s helpful culture between traditional borders and people will run in to each other anyways. Why not make break the ice with a fun competitional experience?”
