FGA ’23 – the inaugural Futuregames Awards
The very first edition of the Futuregames Awards has taken place at Futuregames in Stockholm! The event was arranged by GameChangers, the student union in Stockholm.

The atmosphere was electric, the human drumroll before each presentation was in unison and cheers were echoing through the venue as each winner was announced. It was indeed a night to remember, thanks to the dedicated student union. By students, for students!
Futuregames Awards categories
The awards ceremony featured several categories, each recognizing excellence in various aspects of game development: Art, Tech, Design, Audio, VR, and Judges’ Choice.
The excellent jury consisted of: Ali Farha, Senior Producer at Star Stable Entertainment AB, Rika Lim, Level Designer at Liquid Swords, Rasmus Karlsson, Senior Rendering Programmer at Ubisoft, Joseph Kalathil, Experienced Programmer at Paradox Interactive and Johan Malmberg, Technical Designer at Star Stable Entertainment.
