What are you doing today?

I’m currently continuing my Frontend Development studies at Futuregames.

Why did you choose Futuregames?

I chose Futuregames because of how the Head of Department interacted with me after I submitted a late application the year before I was accepted.

She really made me feel that everyone at the school was valued, and that made a strong impression on me.

What stands out most from your time at Futuregames?

The people and the atmosphere have helped me stay engaged and discover what I’m capable of.

What stands out most is how genuine the people are and how inspiring our teacher is.

I often have trouble with courses where I don’t feel inspired or motivated, and Futuregames has been perfect for that. The people and the atmosphere have helped me stay engaged and discover what I’m capable of.

Tell us about your journey so far

I’m still studying at Futuregames, but the journey from the beginning until now has been great.

I entered the program not knowing what to expect, and now I’ve finally found a passion. My classmates and teacher have definitely helped bring that out in me.

What are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of the progress I’ve made between my first day and where I am now.

At the beginning of the program, we were shown projects created by previous graduates and told that we would be able to build similar things within a year. I genuinely thought that was an exaggeration, but now I can see that it wasn’t.

Being able to open a new project, know how to get started and create things I never expected to be able to build is a great feeling.

If I had to choose one particular project, it would be the group project we completed for a real client. The teamwork, the connections we formed and the hands-on experience are things that not many schools offer.

What advice would you give someone considering Futuregames?

As someone who has always found it difficult to enjoy education and stay highly motivated, I would say that Futuregames has a wonderful atmosphere.

The teachers are genuinely passionate about the development of every student. In my experience, that is one of the hardest things to find.
